Mandarin Credit Courses for NTHU Foreign Faculties Regulations

 

• 為促進本校外籍教職員工華語能力，以提升行政效率，華語中心（以下簡稱「本中心」）特定國立清華大學外籍教職員工華語學分班課程隨班附讀修課辦法（以下簡稱「本辦法」）。

The regulation is established to enhance the Chinese ability and administrative efficiency of the foreign faculties at NTHU.

 

• 本辦法實施對象包括：
  1. 本校外籍教職員工。
  2. 一年期以上的訪問學者。
  3. 一年期以上的博士後研究員。
  4. 以上所屬對象之配偶

Eligibility:

 

1. NTHU foreign faculties and staffs.

 

2. Long-term visiting scholars at NTHU ( minimum stay of one year)

 

3. Postdoctoral research fellows at NTHU (minimum stay of one year)

 

4. Spouses of the subjects listed above.

 

• 第一次修課者，可免繳學費（課程教材需自行負擔）；第二次修課者，需達以下條件，才得以繼續免費修課，未達以上標準者，不再提供免費修課。

       1.第一次修課出席率需達整學期三分之二。

        2.前次修課期末總成績達C^-。

Tuition can be waived for people who enroll to the Mandarin class for the first time (students need to pay for the text books required by the course ). People who are not able to meet the requirements listed below will lose the eligibility to apply for the exemption from tuition for the second time.

1. Attendance of the course has to exceed 2/3 of the semester.

 

2. Need to achieve a minimum academic average of C^- in the course.

 

• 本辦法將試辦兩年，自107學年度上學期開始實施。

The regulations will only be effective for two years for trial, starting from Fall semester of 2018.

 

 

• 每班學生人數額滿後不開放加簽。（額滿人數為15人，並以本中心公告為準）。

No petition will be accepted when the class is full. (Maximum number of enrollment of each class is 15 students, upon the announcement by CLC)

 

• 開放課程開放報名時間同社會人士隨班附讀，報名時需檢附員工證以茲證明，配偶需亦檢附相關證明。

Registration time will be the same as the non-NTHU students of the Continuing Education Department. Please enclose the proof of your NTHU faculty ID along with the application form as shown below when you apply for the courses. All documents  also need to be provided for the spouses.

 

• 本中心保有最後修正權利，報名事宜以中心網站公告為主。
