We invite youth 18~30 years of age worldwide to share with us their best Taiwan travel ideas. If you submit one of the best entries, we will hand you a cash award of US$2,000~3,000 to help turn your Taiwan dream into Youth Trek reality! Your 10-day or longer itinerary should reflect a spirit of personal discovery and enthusiasm for Taiwan - the nation at the dynamic crossroads of Asia and the Pacific. Entries may be submitted in English, Chinese, Japanese or Korean. We will choose 13 of the best entries for awards of US$2,000 to US$3,000 each!

 

Entry Requirements:

        1. Basic applicant information (including photograph).

        2. Taiwan travel itinerary of at least 10 consecutive days in length.

 

  • Application Period: now until September 30th, 2012.
  • Travel Dates: your itinerary must begin between October 15th and November 30th, 2012 and finish up before December 11th.
  • China Airlines is offering special promotional airfare rates to Youth Trek participants.

2012 Taiwan Working Vacation

 

Interested in spending a working vacation in Taiwan, the dynamic and friendly gateway to Asia? We’re inviting qualified individuals 18~30 years of age from 7 countries to send us their ideas. Upload a 1~2 minute video clip to Youtube telling us about yourself and your Taiwan working vacation plans and you could win US$2,000~3,000 toward making your Taiwan dreams come true. The program is open to 18~30 year-olds who are eligible to apply for a first-time Taiwan working holiday / youth mobility program visa from one of the following seven countries: United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan and South Korea. The organizer will hold an Internet poll to judge the best Youtube video clip submissions and give US$2,000 or US$3,000 to each of the 7 best entries!

 

  • Would you like to experience Taiwan up close and personal? Would you enjoy discovering more about Taiwan’s culture and people? Then a Taiwan working holiday could be just for you! Take advantage of language teaching / exchange, special skills employment, B&B / farm long stay programs, experiential vacation reporting, theatrical performance and other exciting opportunities.

        2. Arrive in Taiwan on a valid working holiday / youth mobility program visa.

  • Travel Dates: you should arrive in Taiwan between October 15th and November 30th, 2012 (December 11th at the very latest).

邀請18-30歲全球國際青年報名參加徵選活動，自行提案規劃來台10天以上、符合青年旅遊精神之主題式壯遊台灣計畫(限中文、英文、日文與韓文)，有機會獲得2000 or 3000美元獎金，將選出13名優勝青年，提供實踐獎金。

報名資格:

        1.個人基本資料(含照片)。

        2.行程天數至少安排10天(天數需連續不可中斷)。

          規劃內容：

            a.參加動機、社團或旅遊經驗簡述、來台計畫的主題及特色。 

            b.須規劃運用至少二種青年旅遊服務體系或青年壯遊點。

            c.列舉將透過什麼方式分享台灣旅遊經驗及預定推廣本活動的宣傳方式。

            d.計畫內容以中文、英文、日文或韓文之語言版本完成。

 

期程:

  • 預計徵件時間:即日起至2012/09/30
  • 預計抵台時間:2012/10/15~2012/11/30<需在12/11前完成10天以上(含10天)旅遊>

廣邀18-30歲符合來台打工度假簽證/青年交流停留簽證申請資格之英國、德國、加拿大、紐西蘭、澳洲、日本與韓國等7個國家，未曾來台打工度假之青年報名。上傳短片至Youtube(含自我介紹及來台旅遊的期待，1-2分鐘)，有機會獲得2000 or 3000美元獎金，透過網路票選活動，從參與者中依國籍各選出1名最具人氣者，共7名獲獎者，提供實踐獎金。

報名資格:

1.上傳短片(含自我介紹及來台旅遊的期待，1-2分鐘)至Youtube並將網址mail至活動小組以便進行投票。

2. 以中華民國打工度假簽證/青年交流停留簽證入境台灣

 

期程:

  • 預計徵件時間:即日起至2012/09/30
  • 預計抵台時間:2012/10/15~2012/11/30<最晚需在12/11前抵台>
  • 主辦單位特與中華航空合作，提供青年代訂優惠機票服務

獎勵辦法及獎金發放方式:

  • 東北亞及東南亞(日本、南韓、港澳、菲律賓、泰國、緬甸、越南、寮國、柬埔寨、新加坡、馬來西亞、印尼、汶萊、東帝汶、大陸)地區國家之獲獎青年，每位提供美金2,000元實踐獎金。
  • 歐洲、美洲、非洲、大洋洲與其他亞洲地區國家之獲獎青年，每位提供美金3,000元實踐獎金。
  • 抵台後即領取70%獎金，行程完成後領取30%獎金。
